Percarbonate of Soda, Natural Bleach or Oxygen Bleach as its commonly known is a safe, non-toxic alternative to harsh chlorine bleach. When dissolved in water it releases oxygen which acts as a powerful stain remover, disinfectant and deodoriser.
It comes in a home compostable kraft package, although needs to be stored in a closed container in a dry place.
